Almond Mutton (Badami Gosht)
Almond Mutton is a flavorful and delicious mutton curry. This recipe is made from mutton meat with Almonds. You can prepare this recipe for lunch, dinner, or for any special guest or event. This dish can be served with roti/Naan and you can also have it with plain rice
Ingredients required to prepare Almond Mutton:
1. Mutton (1 kg)
2. Yogurt (1 cup)
3. Ginger garlic Paste (1tbsp)
4. Cumin crushed (2 tbsp)
5. Cardamon (2)
6. White pepper (1 tsp)
7. Cloves (4)
8. Black pepper seeds (6)
9. Salt (to taste)
10. Almonds (150 gms)
11. Mint leaves (few)
12. Oil (half cup)
Method to prepare Almond Mutton:
Marinate the mutton with yogurt, salt, black pepper, and ginger garlic paste and put in an airtight box in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Soak almonds in warm water for 1 hour peel them off and make a paste.
Take a cup oil heat it in a pan put the chopped onions and cook till it is pink. Now add all spices put ginger garlic paste and fry it well. Now add cumin and marinated mutton and mix well. Also, add almond paste. Mix well and add 1 cup of water. Now cook for 45 minutes till mutton is cooked.
Garnish with mint leaves and almonds.
