Aloo Kay Parathay (Potato Tawa Pie)
Aloo Kay Paratha is one of the most liked breakfasts in Pakistan and India. People like to eat Aloo Kay Parathay (Potato Tawa Pie) not only for breakfast but also for dinner. Potato Parathas are widely sold in Pakistan and India. You can cook them at any time and they are also good snacks.
Ingredients
1.Flour (1 KG To prepare Dough)
2.Five Large Potatoes(Boiled)
3.Fresh Coriander leaves(10-12)
4.Mint Leaves (10-12)
5.Salt(1/2 tsp)
6.Carom Seeds/ Ajwain (1 tsp)
7.Coriander Seeds /Dry Dahnia (1-2 tsp)
8.Red chili powder (1/2 tsp)
9.Green Chillies (Two Small)
10.Ghee or Oil to fry
Cooking Instructions
Boil all the potatoes
Peel off the skin of all the potatoes and mash.
Now Crush all the spices with two green chilies and mint leaves
Now mix all the crushed ingredients in mashed potatoes
Mix the mashed potatoes and spices well
Now add some more Fresh Coriander and mint leaves
Now Make small roti/Pie with Flour dough and fill it with Potato mixture.
make another roti/pie and Put it on the potato filling and Seal It properly.
Now flat the Potato filled paratha/Pie with wooden roller
Now use both hands to make it flatter.
Put it on Hot Pan/Tawa.
Now Add/Brush ghee/Oil to it.
Now flip the paratha and add more ghee or oil if required.
Keep rolling the paratha/Pie until both the sides are Golden.
Serve Hot with Chatni/Sauce
