Aloo Ki Tikki (Potato Kabab)
Allo Ki Tikki is one of the most commonly made snacks in Pakistan and India. It is a delicious snack and You may eat this with nan/roti/bread or rice. You may also eat with any sauce or chatni.
Ingredients
One Cup Gram Flour(Baisan)
Five Large Potatoes(Boiled)
Fresh Coriander leaves(10-12)
Mint Leaves (10-12)
Ghee or Oil to fry
Carom Seeds/ Ajwain One Teaspoon
Coriander Seeds /Dry Dahnia (one to two teaspoons)
Red chili Powder(Half Tea Spoon)
Salt (Two teaspoons)
Cooking Instructions
Boil all the potatoes
Peel off the skin of all the potatoes and mash.
Now Crush all the spices with two green chilies and mint leaves
Now mix all the crushed ingredients in mashed potatoes
Mix the mashed potatoes and spices well
Now add some more Fresh Coriander and mint leaves
Mix Gram Flour with water little salt and red chili powder
Make small kababs of potatoes and dip in the Gram flour mixture
Now fry the Potato Kebabs(Allo ki Tikki )
Keep frying until the kebab color changes to golden
Now serve Kebabs Hot with Chutni or Ketchup
