Beef Kofta Curry Recipe – Beef Kofta Masala Gravy Meatballs Curry recipe
Beef Kofta is is a beef meatball with a gravy recipe.You can use beef kofta curry with nan/roti/rice. koftay ka salan can be served in Nashta(Breakfast) with Nan-chana . Beef kofta Masala Gravy is thick and full of flavor. Beef Meatballs may also be used to prepare koftay ki biryani or kofta pulao.
Ingredients
Half Kg Keema(Beef Mince)
2 chopped onions
2 chopped tomatoes,
Ginger Garlic paste 1 tbsp
Green chilies 2 chopped
Gram flour(besan) 2 tbsp
Salt
Garam masala
Red Chili Powder
Cooking Instructions
To prepare Kofta(Meat balls)
Mix the following ingredients in Keema(Beef mince)
Add one tsp red chili powder
Add one tsp garam masala
Add one tsp Salt
Add 2 spoons gram flour(besan)
Add green chili paste(2 chilies)
Mix well with a spoon and make balls of equal size
To prepare Kofta curry
In a pan/wok add half cup oil and sliced onions and start cooking onions
Keep frying till onions get golden brown color
once cooked drain oil from onions and crush them on side
Now add ginger garlic paste in oil and fry it for a while
Add chopped tomatoes
Fry tomatoes for a minute and add crushed onions
Now add 1 tsp turmeric powder(Haldi) in oil and fry it
Add salt 1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp red chili powder
Add 1 tsp garam masala(all spice powder)
Now add green chili paste 1 tsp
Mix all spices and tomatoes well to make a fine paste
Add meatballs in the ready paste of tomatoes and spices keep the flame medium
Do not cover
Stir fry the meatballs in curry with light hands Avoid breaking them
Add a cup of water to make gravy
You can add more water to increase the quantity of gravy
Delicious Meatballs (kofta) with gravy is ready
Enjoy with Nan or Roti
