Chicken Daigi Qorma Recipe
Chicken Qorma is one of the most famous recipes in Pakistan and India. Almost for any special dinner or party, the Chicken Qorma is the main dish, we have included a very special recipe of Chicken Daigi Qorma which is prepared quickly but the flavor and taste are alike commercial or Daigi chicken Qorma.
Ingredients required to prepare Daigi chicken Qorma.:
1. Chicken (1 kg or 12 pieces)
2. Onions (2-3)
3. Cloves (8)
4. Cinnamon sticks (1-inch piece)
5. Black cardamom (3)
6. Salt (1 ½ tsp or to taste)
7. Red chili powder (2 tsp)
8. Coriander powder (2 tsp)
9. Nutmeg (Jaifal) (1/4 piece)
10. Mace (Javitri) (2 sticks)
11. Yogurt (1 ½ cup)
12. Oil (½ cup)
13. Kaveri water (1 tsp)
Cooking instructions for Daigi chicken Qorma. :
Take a pan heat oil in it and put chopped onions in it to fry. Cook till onions get brown and crispy.
Grind the onions once they get cold. Now take spices cinnamon sticks, black cardamom, nutmeg, and mace chop them and put them aside.
Heat the oil in a pan and add chicken fry for a while. Now add salt and ginger garlic paste and stir fry for 5 minutes. Now add red chili powder, coriander powder, ground onions, and ground spices and cook them for 1 minute. Then add yogurt mix well and cover the pan cook on low flame for 10-15 until the chicken is cooked and the oil is separated from the mixture. Add a little water to make gravy. Keep cooking on low flame and cover. Add kewra water at the end. Dish out the yummy Qorma and garnish with ginger and coriander leaves.
Serve hot with Naan.
