Chicken with Mushroom and Garlic

Chicken with Mushroom and Garlic is a very aromatic and tasty Chinese recipe which is served with rice. Chinese cuisine can be served for lunch or breakfast.

Ingredients required for Chicken with Mushroom and Garlic

  • Chicken meat: 250 grams
  • Mushrooms: 12
  • Chicken stock:1 cup
  • Ginger: 2 teaspoon
  • Garlic; 2 teaspoon
  • Chilli sauce: 1 teaspoon
  • Soya sauce: 1 1 teaspoon
  • Ajinomoto (Chinese Salt):2 1 tea Spoon (Optional)
  • Corn flour:1 tablespoon
  • Salt: ½ teaspoon
  • Sugar: 1/2 teaspoon

Cooking Directions for Chicken with Mushroom and Garlic:

  1. Put 1 tsp Ajinomoto(Chinese Salt), ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp sugar, 1 tbsp cornflour, and 1 tbsp oil on the chicken pieces.
  2. Marinate for few minutes and then fry in one cup of hot oil.
  3. Take out the meat from the pan and remove oil as well except 2-3 tbsp oil.
  4. Fry ginger garlic in it and add meat again with red chilli sauce, soya sauce, chicken stock, salt, sugar and Ajinomoto(Chinese salt).
  5. Onc the sauce is hot add mushrooms, each cut into two or four pieces.
  6. Now add cornflour mixed with a little water and let the sauce thicken.
  7. Cook until it is thick, serve with Chinese rice.
