Crispy Pokara Recipe (Best Snack )
This recipe is famous for Desi Snak and it is very popular in Pakistan and India. You can eat Spicy Pakoras with tea. This is a high-energy snack for people like this in the holy month of Ramadan to break fast. This Snack is also popular among children and young people. People also eat Pokaras for Lunch and Evening tea. Besan Pokara is the best desi snack and a delicious mouth-watering Ramadan Iftaar item.
Ingredients
3 Cup Gram Flour(Baisan)
Three Large Potatoes
Three Medium Size Onions
one cup of green Onion
Fresh Coriander (One cup)
Curry leaves Fresh Spinach(One cup)
Mint Leaves (10-12)
Ghee or Oil to fry Pokaras
Turmeric Powder/Haldi Powder One Tea Spoon
Carom Seeds/ Ajwain One Teaspoon
Coriander Seeds /Dry Dahnia (one to two teaspoons)
Red chilli Powder(2 Tea Spoon)
Salt (Two teaspoons)
Directions
Cut the potatoes in finger shape and Thingly slice the Onions
Mix potatoes and onions with all the green ingredients including green Onion,
Fresh Coriander, Curry leaves Fresh Spinach, and Mint Leaves.
Now add Gram Flour(Baisan).
Now mix all the Spices including Tumeric Powder/Haldi Powder, Carom Seeds/Ajwain, Coriander Seeds /Dry Daphnia
Red chilli powder and Salt.
Now add water until it becomes thick Paste
Now add Ghee or Oil to the Pan and Heat the Oil on a Medium Flame.
Take a spoonful of Mixture and put in the hot oil
Fry on medium heat until it turns Golden Brown.
Serve with Tomato Ketchup
