Fish Biryani
Fish Biryani is a unique dish that can be served in the main meal. You can use any type of fresh fish.
Ingredients
- Fish 1/2 kg
- Boiled Rice 1/2 kg
- Tomatoes ¼ kg
- Curd ¼ kg
- Onion ¼ kg
- Green chilies 6-8
- Ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoon
- Coriander leaves 1 bunch
- Mint leaves 1 bunch
- Lemon 1
- Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
- Dill seeds 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric 1/2 teaspoon
- Allspice(Gram Masala) powder 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Food colour 1 teaspoon
- Red chili 2 teaspoon
- Oil 1/2 cup
- All whole spices (with banyan, nutmeg, mace) 1 tablespoon
Cooking Directions
- Marinate washed fish with red chili, salt, and dill seed.
- Fry in shallow oil.
- Heat oil in a pan. Fry onion and add tomatoes until soft.
- Add all spices, red chili, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, and salt.
- Boil rice in a pan. Add one tablespoon of oil.
- Arrange rice, masala, and fried fish in layers, with masala on the top again.
- Now sprinkle coriander, green chilies, food coloring, mint leaves, and sliced lemon.
- Put it on low heat for a minute.
- Serve with salad and Raita.
