Biryani is a famous South Asian food. It is a unique type of rice cooked with meat and tasty spices and is brilliant in taste. It is getting popular almost all over the world because of its taste and looks. Biryani has many types and is made with different types of meat and vegetables. Hyderabadi biryani is a different type of biryani family which is rich in taste and full of flavor. Here is the recipe must try.
Ingredients to prepare Recipe :
1.Beef(1 Kg)
2.Rice(good quality)(1 kg)
3.Yogurt (½ kg)
4. Garam masala(all spice powder)(1tsp)
5.Any Biryani masala(2 tsp)
6.Salt (1tsp)
7.Red chili powder(1 tsp)
8.Kachri powder(1 tsp)
9.Onions (2 large)
10.Tomatoes(4 medium)
11.Coriander leaves(1 cup)
12.Mint leaves(20)
13.Ginger garlic paste(1 tbsp)
14.Green chilies (2-3)
15.Food color
Directions To Prepare:
Take one Kg of rice (Good quality). Wash rice well and soak for 1/2 hour. Take 2 onions sliced and fry them in a pan till light brown. Now drain them and put aside to crush them. Take yogurt in a bowl and add garam masala, biryani masala, salt, red chili powder, and kachori powder. Also, add ginger garlic paste
Mix very well.
Take One Kg beef Boneless. Put the ready paste in it and marinate. Add fresh coriander leaves and mix. Now add fried and crushed onions and mix well
In a large pot take water to boil the rice and add 2 cinnamon sticks, Green Cardamon, and 4-5 cloves. Also, add 2 tbsp salt and boil the water.
Now add the soaked rice to this water. Cook till rice is 95% cooked.
Drain the rice. In a separate pan add oil/ghee and heat it. Now add the marinated beef.
Take 4 tomatoes sliced round and add them in the meat. Put a layer of rice on top of the tomato layer
Add a little biryani masala in this layer. Put another layer of rice
Add mint leaves and biryani masala and food color
Place flour dough on top of the pot/wok to make it airtight. Place the lid tightly
Now cook this for 7 minutes on medium flame and 40 minutes on Extreme low flow flame (Dum)
Mix the meat in rice well and dish out
