Lasoray ka Achar | Gunda Pickle |Glutinous Fruit Pickle
We are sharing Lasoray ka Achar by Cook with Erum. This is Gunda Pickle/Glutinous Fruit Pickle/ Lasoray ka Achar Original Recipe.
Ingredients to make Lasora Pickle:
- Lasora 1 kg
- Mustard oil 100gm
- Kalonji seeds 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Fennel seeds 1 tsp
- Fenugreek 1 tsp
- Coriander 1 tsp
- Red pepper& black pepper 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Directions To Make Lasora Pickle:
Wash the Lasoray /Glutinous Fruit
Put Lasoray/Glutinous Fruit on a cloth and dry in the air. Do not dry in sunlight
Now remove the tip of the Lasoray /Glutinous Fruit
Now take a Wok and add 100 Gm of Mustard oil(sarson ka Tail ) and heat for two minutes
Now add sarson Lasoray /Glutinous Fruit and cook for three minutes.
Keep changing the sides of Lasoray /Glutinous Fruit so they do not burn
Now put all the Lasoray /Glutinous Fruit in a pot
Take one Tsp of (Kalonji)Nigella seeds, Zeera(cumin seeds), sonf (Fennel ), Methi seeds (fenugreek), dry coriander seeds., Red &Black pepper & mustard seeds
You also need all the ingredients crushed in small quantities for better fragrance
Now take one Tb spoon of salt and turmeric powder and mix
Now mix the salt and red chili in the fried Lasoray /Glutinous Fruit
Now put the Lasoray /Glutinous Fruit in a strainer and leave for 8 hours so the extra water is drained
Now after eight hours shift in another pot.
Now mix the crushed Masala
Now add the other whole ingredients one tsp spoon each including the spices. You can add more sonf (Fennel seeds ) if you like
Now mix all the masala in Lasoray /Glutinous Fruit Achar
Now add boiled musted Oil (Cool it before you add in Achar)
Now put the Achar in a Jar.
Fill the Jar with mustard oil and keep it in Sunlight for three days. Enjoy the best Lasoray Achar /Glutinous Fruit Picke
