RasMalai Cake by Cook | Dessert for EID and Special Event.
Cakes are in many shapes and flavors. A cake is the main item for any party. Cakes can easily be made at home with easy ingredients. Ras malai is an Asian sweet dish which is really delightful because of its sweet and refreshing taste. Today we are going to make both cake and ras malai in a different and easy way that is to combine cake and ras malai together and make ras malai cake. It is the best in taste and an excellent dessert. Must try this recipe by Cook With Erum.
Ingredients:
For Cake:
1.Maida(all-purpose flour)(1 cup)
2.Sugar Powder(1/2 cup)
3.Oil(1/3 cup)
4.Yogurt(1/3 cup)
5.Baking Powder(1 tsp)
6.Baking Soda(1/2 tsp)
7.Milk(1/2 cup)
For RasMalai:
1.Milk(1 liter)
2.Sugar(3 spoons)
3.Green Cardamon Powder(elaichi)(1 tsp)
Cooking Method:
Take a bowl and add oil. Now add sugar powder.Add Yogurt.
Mix very well.
Now add 1 cup of maida,1 tsp baking powder&1/2 tsp baking soda.
Mix well and add milk slowly. Make the batter ready
Grease the container with oil.
Add the ready batter in this container.
In a wok or pan add 1.5 glasses of water n wait till water boils.
Once the water starts evaporating place container in the wok.
Place the lid do not pressurize.
Cook for 35-40 minutes checks with a toothpick.
In another pan/wok take one litre of milk.
Add 3 and a half spoon of sugar.
Now add 1 tsp elaichi powder.
Evaporate 30% of milk to make a thick malai like batter.
Check with toothpick if the cake is ready.
Dish out the cake carefully.
Drop ready malai on the cake.
Garnish with Almonds & sprinkles.
Refrigerate for 1 hour and serve.
