Smokey Keema Aloo Recipe
Aloo Keema is a famous Asian dish usually served for lunch or dinner. It is easy to make the recipe and is loved by all the family members. Mostly is served by roti or Naan. Today we are going to share a totally different recipe of Aloo Keema that is Smokey Aloo Keema which has a BBQ like the taste and very easy to make moreover extremely rich in taste.
Ingredients:
1. Beef Mince (1/2 kg)
2. Potatoes (4-5 medium)
3. Onions (2 medium)
4. Tomatoes (2 large)
5. Chilies (2 large)
6. Ginger & Garlic paste (1 tbsp)
7. Yogurt (2 spoons)
8. Red Chili Powder (1 tsp)
9. Salt (1 tsp)
10. Garam Masala (1 tsp)
11. Oil (1/2 cup)
Method:
In a wok/pan take ½ cup oil and onions (chopped) and start frying.
Take 2 tomatoes and green chillies. Grind in a blender and make a paste put aside.
When Onions are turned pink. Add mince in onions and fry
Fry till it changes the colour.
Mix and cook well till excess water gets absorbed.
Add 4 Potatoes cut in cubes.
Add Red chili powder, Garam masala & Salt 1 tsp each.
Add tomato & chili paste. Cook for 3-5 minutes with lid.
Now add 2 spoons of yogurt.
Mix well, keep cooking until it sets.
Its ready now add green chilies & ginger.
Put a coal on fire and burn it till red
Put a small iron or steel plate in mid of pan
Put the burning coal in it
Drop some oil on it
Cover the pan to fill whole Keema with smoke
Remove the lid after 3-5 minutes
Dish out the smoky Aloo Keemaand garnish
Taste is just yummy!
