Sweet and sour chicken
Ingredients
1.Chicken breast 1/2 kg
2. Pineapple 2 large pieces
3. Tomatoes 2 large
4. Regular flour 1 tbs
5. Almonds 1/2 cup
6. Tomato sauce 1 tbs
7. Sugar 1/2 cup
8. Cooking oil 1/2 cup
9. Carrots 3 chopped
10.Ajwain(carom seed) pinch
11. Sesame seed 1 tsp
12. Red chilli 1/2 tsp
13. salt to taste
14. Garlic paste 1 tsp
15. Chilli flakes 1/2 tsp
16. Onions 2 medium
Method:
1. Grate the carrots and chop the onions mix them well add ajwain(carom seed) and put aside for some time.
2. Now add chilli flakes, garlic paste, salt and sugar in tomato sauce and marinate the chicken breast in it and put aside for half an hour.
3. Then in a wok or pan add sesame seeds and roast them plain till they get crispy and put aside.
4. Now in the same wok add cooking oil and heat it now adds marinated chicken in it and fry till brown.
5. Then add carrots and onions to the chicken also add some tomato sauce and green chillies.
6. Cover the wok and let cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
7. Add tomatoes cover and cook for 5 minutes.
8. Now add chopped almonds and cook for 3 minutes.
9. When the chicken is ready dish it out and garnishes it with roasted sesame seeds and pineapple slices.
10. Serve with bread or rice.
